Close consultation with all of our bid businesses is a key part of our work
We commit to listen to all of our BID business, and lead the campaign for even more improvements to Southend town centre and seafront. The work carried out by the STCP has given us strong foundations on which to develop a unique insight into the evolving needs of the town centre and seafront.
Having completed the consultation process, it was recognised that southend bid's work would focus on three main areas:
The impact of the work we do and the overall performance of the Southend economy, is assessed using key performance indicators, such as crime statistics, footfall data and spending within the BID zone. Such close scrutiny will allow greater control and flexibility of resources so that our delivery can adapt quickly to changing business needs.
To ensure the management of the BID meets levy payers’ expectations, we obtained dual accreditation from the national membership organisation, British BIDs, certifying the high quality management and successful delivery of Southend BID.
