Over the past decade, the Business Improvement District (BID) has delivered a range of projects, based on the priorities of businesses, which have created a strong platform for growth. With City status awarded there is huge potential for economic and cultural benefits, generating revenue and opportunities.

The BID has brought together businesses in the city and empowered them, giving them more of a say in the City's development and management strategy.  We have listened to the priorities of businesses and our website and business plan details the plans for the third term.

 

To ensure that BID members can be confident in the management of their BID we have obtained accreditation from the national membership organisation British BIDs, certifying the high quality management and successful delivery of Southend City BID.
