In the Autumn of 2019 Southend BID launched the town’s first Cocktail Week in efforts to highlight the fantastic night time economy venues that we have in our town. We saw the likes of the Grosvenor Casino, The Royal Hotel, Revolution, and more present signature cocktails for £5 over a ten day period, and we’re pleased to announce that it will be making a return for 2020.
Southend Cocktail Week takes the form of a self-guided tour which means that in a time of social distancing you can be assured that you will not be surrounded by crowds making a bee line for the bars - you can try the drinks on offer at your own pace at the diverse venues on different nights. You can also be reassured that our venues are all strictly adhering to the government safety measures and as a result may have reduced capacities, so book ahead to avoid missing out!
Running from Friday 23 October – Sunday 1 November, we have venues waiting to delight you with tantalizing cocktails (or mocktails!) served straight to your table. What’s more there are great events going on at some of our bars throughout the trail so you can have double the fun.
