Next month all applicable Southend BID businesses will be receiving their contribution notices for payment of the annual levy. BID legislation stipulates that billing must continue as normal, however in Southend it has been agreed to defer payments in view of the current COVID-19 crisis. There will be a three month deferral period for any business that requires it and payment will not be pursued or enforced in this time.

Please keep an eye on our social channels and your emails for general updates on the BID zone and Government measures.
Our Street Ranger team will continue their high visibility patrols of the BID zone throughout this period. If your business has temporarily closed, you may wish to send us on the contact details of the key holder (with their permission) for us to notify them should our Street Rangers notice any issues with the premises on their patrols.
