Southend's family-friendly Halloween Trail kicks off tomorrow!

Updated: Oct 25, 2021

With Halloween just around the corner, Southend BID are thrilled to announce that they’ll be hosting a spook-tastic, family-friendly Halloween trail throughout the town this October. Allowing children and parents alike to enjoy this popular time of year, Our trail will highlight the wonderful range of businesses who contribute to our flourishing high street, whilst providing children with an engaging activity to participate in this half term.

As part of this trail, children will discover 12 Halloween characters situated in business windows throughout the high street. By following a free, downloadable map, visitors will be immersed in Halloween festivities. Meanwhile, this map features a range of fun activities for children to enjoy; Southend BID’s interactive trail promises to inspire family fun, whilst helping to keep children active this autumn.

Southend BID’s Halloween trail will be taking place from the 22nd October to the 1st November. Discussing their excitement to host this event, Southend BID Manager Ashley Oglina-Beecham says:

"Halloween is always a fun time; last year we of course weren’t able to celebrate it as we would have liked, and so hosting a fun, engaging event for the entire community this year was especially important to Southend BID. Our goal this autumn and winter is to bring smiles to people’s faces; from our iconic firework displays to our upcoming ’12 events of Christmas’ and, indeed, this Halloween trail, we hope Southend will become a go-to destination for seasonal fun over coming months."
