Southend Pride are thrilled to announce that plans are being made for their annual parade and LGBTQ+ celebrations this year, on Saturday 17th July from 12pm.
Following a parade across the High Street it is proposed that we come together as a community, with businesses, local organisations and groups joining together for the parade, followed by venues and businesses hosting their own celebrations as part of the big day.
We would like to invite as many businesses as possible to be involved, whether it’s hosting an event, offering Pride related food/drinks/ merchandise or simply hanging a pride flag outside the premises or, even better, dedicating a whole window display to the theme of Pride.
Can you play your part in supporting Southend Pride? Would you like to offer Pride themed drinks/food/merchandise? Or host an event at your venue this July 17th?
The Southend Pride team are looking for venues for the following – although this list is not limited – they are more than open to your ideas!

• Live music
• Busking musicians
• Street Art
• Comedy
• Kings Vs Queens live event
