Today we have received information from Southend Borough Council that they are carrying out railway infrastructure works (17th - 31st December) that will effect the capacity of spaces available at Tylers Avenue Car Park, where some parts of it are now closed. Southend BID believe you should be made aware and have issued the following statement:
'Between the 17th - 31st December 2021, Tylers Avenue Car Park will be hosting necessary infrastructure for improvements to Southend Central Station line, supporting Network Rail. Although a portion of the car park will be closed for customer use, the council will aim to ensure that shoppers and businesses in the area are not adversely affected during this time.
Warrior Square Car Park and Seaway Car Park are the nearest alternative parking stations; they will be accommodating customer demand.'
