HARES ABOUT TOWN - Sponsorship Opportunity

There is a SERIOUSLY exciting project coming to Southend next year - did you ever see the giant decorated cows or elephants in London? Well we have a drone of giant Hares coming to Southend!

Wild in Art have joined forces with Havens Hospices to bring these beauties together to form an unforgettable 9 week trail that we take hundreds of thousands of people on a journey of discovery along the seafront and High Street (1st July to 6th September 2020).

These hugely popular trails invite local people to be tourists in their own town, whilst encourage literally thousands of tourists to the area to see the spectacles.

Each Hare is up for adoption for the duration of the trail, and it’s a no brainer marketing exercise for local businesses to get involved- we only launched last month and already we have tons of businesses interested in the campaign - we would love you to be a part of it too!

After the trail is finished, the Hares are taken off for restoration and then shipped to Priory Park for a 3 day farewell exhibition (ticketed event that again attracts thousands- lots of branding opportunities here too). Following this, they are then auctioned to raise vital funds for the new Havens Hospice.

The art call has gone out, and we are already receiving submissions- and they are amazing! There will be an artist selection event in January, where you will be invited to choose your favourite design, or you are more than welcome to commission your own artist to create a design based on your brief (we can assist with this too).

Here is a photograph of our launch Hare- ‘Leporum Fisher’ created by Paul Karslake.
